The Rotten Mangos formed in Mcallen, Texas when asked by a friend to put something together in order to fill a show's opening slot. After a year of Rio-Grande-Valley-influenced musical odysseys, the trio moved to South Padre in order to record an album. "The Rotten Mangos EP" was then self released after their relocation to Austin, Texas where they now reside. Since then, California based record label Lolipop Records has re-released their EP and recently put out their new single; with an full length LP soon to come, The Rotten Mangos now embark on a tour to share their tunes with anyone willing to listen.
